China’s steel product exports climb in Jul y-o-y

According to data from China’s customs, China’s exports of steel products reached around 6.67 million tons in July, a year-on-year increase of 17.7%. Meanwhile, the steel product imports were 789,000 tons, dropping by 24.9% year on year.

In the first seven months, China’s steel product exports amounted to 40.07 million tons, declining by 6.9% year on year. At the same time, China imported steel products with 6.56 million tons, sliding by 21.9% from the same period of last year.
